Ingredients:
- 500 grams of lean ground pork
- 2 and a half cups of chopped onions
- Garlic powder (approximately 1/2 teaspoon)
- 1/4 cup of ketchup
- 2 teaspoons of tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 1/2 teaspoons of brown sugar
- Salt and ground pepper to taste
- 4 pieces of Green Mill Texas Toast
- Cheddar cheese
Preparation Instructions:
Before you start: Ensure your oven is preheated to 375 degrees for optimal baking.
- In a pan over medium heat, brown the ground pork and chopped onions, then drain any excess liquid.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Cook the mixture over medium heat until it thickens to the desired consistency.
- Meanwhile, place Green Mill Texas Toast in the preheated oven and bake for about 6 minutes or until golden brown.
