The Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake is a divine fusion of chocolate cake, chocolate fudge, velvety chocolate mousse, and luscious white chocolate. Layers of smooth, creamy mousse atop a decadent, moist cake create a truly delightful experience.

Today marks the 4th anniversary of my blog, and as I reflect on this incredible journey, it’s hard to believe how much has changed and the wonderful experiences encountered. To celebrate this milestone, what better way than with a magnificent cake?

Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

  • 5 eggs
  • 150g powdered sugar
  • 135g wheat flour
  • 15g unsweetened cocoa powder

For the Ganache:

  • 20 cl full liquid cream
  • 200g dark chocolate

For the Glaze:

  • 8 cl peanut oil
  • 150g dark chocolate

For the Application Forms:

  • 10g soft butter
  • 10g wheat flour

For 6 Servings

Instructions:

For the Cake:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) and butter a pan, dusting it with flour.
  2. Mix the flour and cocoa powder together.
  3. Blend eggs and sugar until the mixture becomes foamy and triples in volume.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour and cocoa mixture with care.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake at 200°C for 20 minutes. Allow it to cool completely.

For the Ganache:

  1. Place chocolate chips in a bowl.
  2. Heat cream in a saucepan until it boils; pour half over the chocolate.
  3. Stir gently, starting from the center and moving towards the edges, until the chocolate is melted.
  4. Add the remaining cream and stir until smooth.

For the Glaze:

  1. Melt chocolate in oil using a double boiler.

To Decorate:

  1. Once the cake has cooled completely, cut it into three slices. Spread a layer of ganache between each cake slice and cover the entire cake with a final layer of ganache.
  2. Pour the warm glaze over the top, allowing it to cover the entire cake.
  3. Allow the cake to set in a cool place. Keep any leftovers for later indulgence.
