Best Cauliflower Salad


In every salad, broccoli and cauliflower are two vegetables that complement each other perfectly. Add onion, cheese, a touch of bacon, and a flavorful vinaigrette to bring everything together, and you’ve got yourself a delicious salad. For our needs, I’ve halved the recipe, but here are the ingredients for the full version. This salad truly is a culinary delight.

For 4-5 servings


  • Salad:
    • 4 cups (390 grams) cauliflower, cut into small florets
    • 4 cups (300 grams) broccoli, cut into small florets
    • 1 1/4 cups (176 grams) diced yellow Cheddar cheese
    • 8 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
    • 1/2 cup (80 grams) diced red onion
  • Dressing:
    • 3/4 cup (180 milliliters) 0% Greek yogurt
    • 1/2 cup (125 milliliters) mayonnaise
    • 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) maple syrup
    • 2 tablespoons (30 milliliters) red wine vinegar
    • 1/4 teaspoon (1 milliliter) salt

Best Cauliflower Salad


  1. In a bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the dressing. Cover and refrigerate until needed.
  2. In a large salad bowl, combine the cauliflower, broccoli, Cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and diced red onion.
  3. Pour the prepared dressing over the salad ingredients and toss until everything is evenly coated.
